Maintenance Job Description

Location: Origin Kansas City, 151 Berkley Plaza, Kansas City, MO, 64120

We are seeking a skilled and experienced maintenance worker to join our team at Origin Kansas City. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment, machinery, and facilities in the building.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting, plumbing, electrical work, and carpentry
• Inspect and troubleshoot equipment and machinery to identify and resolve issues
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty equipment and parts
• Ensure that all maintenance work is completed in a timely and efficient manner
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance work performed
• Ensure that all safety procedures are followed when performing maintenance work
• Assist with the installation of new equipment and machinery as needed
• Perform other duties as assigned by management

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as a maintenance worker or similar role
• Strong knowledge of maintenance procedures and techniques
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to lift heavy objects and work in confined spaces
• Willingness to work flexible hours as needed
