Job Description

A line cook is responsible for preparing food items according to the recipes and standards set by the restaurant. They work under the supervision of the head chef or sous chef and are responsible for ensuring that all dishes are prepared in a timely and efficient manner.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare food items according to the recipes and standards set by the restaurant
  • Cook and plate dishes in a timely and efficient manner
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Ensure that all food items are properly stored and labeled
  • Assist with inventory and ordering of supplies
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures
  • Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure that all orders are completed accurately and on time
