Front Desk Supervisor

Job Description

The Front Desk Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the front desk area. This includes managing the front desk staff, ensuring that all guests are greeted in a friendly and professional manner, and handling any guest complaints or issues that may arise. The Front Desk Supervisor will also be responsible for maintaining accurate records of guest information, room availability, and other important data. Other duties may include training new front desk staff, scheduling staff shifts, and ensuring that all front desk equipment is in good working order.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a front desk or customer service role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other computer programs
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively
  • Ability to work well under pressure and in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management or related field
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience with hotel management software
  • Fluency in a second language
