Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced bartender to join our team at Origin Baton Rouge. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to our customers. The bartender will also be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized bar area, managing inventory, and ensuring that all customers are served in a timely and courteous manner.

Responsibilities
  • Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Maintain a clean and organized bar area
  • Manage inventory and order supplies as needed
  • Ensure that all customers are served in a timely and courteous manner
  • Check identification to verify legal drinking age
  • Handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Follow all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverages
  • Provide excellent customer service and address customer concerns or complaints
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of mixing, garnishing, and serving drinks
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked, and clean
  • Strong customer service skills
  • Ability to handle cash and credit card transactions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Must be at least 21 years of age
